"Don't be afraid of them. remember the great and awe-inspiring Lord and fight for your countrymen, your sons, your daughters, your wives and homes"
For in Him we live and move and exist for even some of your own poets have also said for we are His children
As for me, may I never boast about anything except The Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me
Jesus replied: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
The Lord your God is in your midst,
a mighty one who will save;
he will rejoice over you with gladness;
he will quiet you by his love;
he will exult over you with loud singing.
Then I heard the voice of the Lord say
“Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?”
Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!”
For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
The soldiers and Pharisees came to arrest Jesus with torches, lanterns and weapons. Jesus asked "who is it you seek". The replied "Jesus of Nazareth". Jesus Replied "i am He" and when Jesus said "I am He" the soldiers drew back, dropped their weapons and fell to the ground
